Karen Jackson was diagnosed with an inherited heart disorder, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, at an early age. "I even found walking across a room challenging," Karen recalls. "in the year before the transplant my life had come to a screeching halt. I am now setting up my own law practice and I can go on long walks at a pace that leaves my husband panting behind."
