Jon Trachtenberg, Esq. : Director of IP & In-house Counsel

Prior to joining TransMedics in June 2004, Mr. Trachtenberg was an intellectual property attorney at Hamilton, Brook, Smith & Reynolds, P.C. (HBSR) in Concord, MA where TransMedics had been his client since 1998.

At HBSR, Mr. Trachtenberg prosecuted patents and trademarks in the fields of medical devices and methods, electronic and mechanical devices, bioinformatics and software. Mr. Trachtenberg also performed patent and trademark litigation, copyright applications, licensing and transactional agreements, and IP opinions for patentability, infringement, and validity. Mr. Trachtenberg is licensed to practice in the federal and state courts in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is a registered attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Mr. Trachtenberg received his BSE in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University and JD from Boston College Law School.
